Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss Tinted Colour

Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss is water-based, high gloss paint that provides a smooth, durable topcoat that can be used on both interior wood and metal. It is the second part of a two-part system, which includes using Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat as a first coat, following by the Quick Dry Gloss as a topcoat.

As a water-based gloss, it benefits from the quick drying time, non-yellowing and low odour that you get with a water-based paint, while achieving a fantastic finish. It also provides a tough finish that offers good resistance to knocking and scuffing when applied to woodwork and metal.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. Any timber surfaces should be sanded down lightly to create a key for the paint to adhere and primed using a suitable primer. Apply one or two coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat as required. Once prepared, apply two coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Gloss, ensuring you leave 4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry. Where a strong colour change is required, three coats of paint may be required. Do not apply in conditions below 8ºC.
