Dulux Trade Diamond High Performance Eggshell uses a tough and flexible cross-linking binder which gives superior durability when compared to standard Dulux Trade Eggshell, making it five times tougher and 43% more scuff resistant. This extra-tough product can be used directly on suitably prepared surfaces and is ideal for super high traffic areas. It has achieved Class 1 ISO 11998 and Type C BS 7719 scrub ratings, that have certified its ability to withstand daily wear and tear.

Diamond Eggshell is easy to apply, being water-based it is also very easy to clean brushes & rollers. How Dulux Trade Diamond Paint Works

Dulux Trade Diamond Stain Repellent Technology actively repels a liquid stain, reducing the surface area of the paint affected. This means a stain is not absorbed into the paint and can be easily wiped clean, without the need for scrubbing. The Diamond range is AkzoNobel’s most durable decorative paint and has a coverage rate per litre of up to 16m².

Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal interior environments and will withstand repeated washing making it perfect paint paint for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Not suitable for use on immersed surfaces or where there is heavy and prolonged condensation.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. If bare, apply a mist coat of Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt, using a dilution of one part water to five parts paint. Once prepared, apply two coats of Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell, ensuring you leave 4-6 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry.
