Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt is a highly durable matt finish that is 100% more stain resistant compared to a standard vinyl matt. This provides it superior cleaning capabilities, allowing you to wash the paint film without marking it.

It is perfect for use in high-condensation rooms such as bathrooms & kitchens, as well as high-traffic rooms such as hallways.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks & ensure the surface is clean. Porous surfaces such as new plaster should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt diluted with 40% water by volume.

It is important to stir the paint well before use. Apply two coats of paint using a good quality paint brush & a medium pile roller. To prevent framing, use a mini-roller to as close to the edge as possible once you have cut in using a paint brush. This will ensure no brush strokes and will prevent overapplication. You must allow 3-4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry even though the paint will be touch dry in 1-2 hours. As a water-based paint, you can clean paint brushes and rollers using water.
