Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-Tra White

Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-tra is a high performance, solvent borne eggshell finish that has been specially formulated to provide long lasting protection for exterior joinery and suitably primed metal. As with much of the Sandex range, it offers fantastic value for money with at coverage at 15 m² per litre on smooth surfaces and a 10 year durability.

Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-Tra comes in white as standard, but is also available to be mixed in any colour with Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-Tra Tinted Colour.

Application

Ensure masonry is clean, dry and sound. Remove any loose paint if the wall has been previously painted as this will impact the ability for the paint to adhere.

Fill any cracks and small defects in masonry using a suitable exterior filler and sand down timber using sandpaper to create a light key. Ensure you prime bare surfaces using an appropriate exterior primer. Apply two coats of Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-Tra using a brush or medium pile roller. Ensure you leave 4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry.
