Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish Clear Gloss

Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish is a floor varnish suitable for all wooden flooring including hardwood and softwood boards and parquet. It possesses all the benefits of a water-borne varnish, such as low odour, quick drying and fast re-coat time. The inclusion of combined polymer chemistry gives a tough, hard wearing finish that makes it it ideal for use on wooden flooring and stairs subject to high traffic. It is also resistant to stains and creates an easy to clean surface on timber.

Application

Timber surfaces must be suitably prepared, clean, sound and dry. Fill any cracks or holes in the timber using a suitable wood filler. If solvent-borne coatings have been applied, allow them to dry for at least 3-5 days before applying Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish. Any water-based woodstains can normally be coated within 24 hours. Remove all failing coatings before application using a scraper. Sound coatings should be thoroughly sanded to provide a light key for improved adhesion.

Apply three coats of Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish in the direction of the grain, allowing it to dry for 2-4 hours between coats. For best results use a good quality, synthetic paint brush specifically designed for use with water-based paint.
