Sadolin Extra Durable Clearcoat is a unique wood treatment that offers the performance of a woodstain, but with minimal pigment content. It offer timber protection from rain, moisture and sun/UV light, that can all cause damage.
It is ideal for use on windows, doors & conservatories, remaining flexible to prevent peeling, flaking or blistering. It can either be used as a topcoat for use on top of Sadolin Classic, or simply in isolation. It is suitable for all exterior wood, except decking.
Application
Timber surfaces must be suitably prepared, clean, sound and dry. Any existing paint that is peeling must be removed at this point. Do not apply the coating if moisture content exceeds 18%. The
Apply two full coats of Sadolin Extra Durable Clearcoat, leaving 16-24 hours between coats for the product to completely dry.
