Application

Surfaces should be clean and dry, and all traces of dust and dirt should be removed with a broom of vacuum cleaner before applying a wood finish. The necessity of sanding and removing previous finishes from the surface you are working on will depend on the oil, wax or varnish you are working with (see product instructions for guidance on this).
