Dulux Trade Weathershield QD Exterior Satin Tinted Colour

Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Satin is a water-based, mid-sheen finish which is part of a paint system specifically developed to give long lasting protection for exterior wood & metal. Tests show that Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Satin system will provide extensive protection for up to six years if correctly applied as per the instructions for use. Two of its major benefits is that it has fantastic coverage of 20m² per litre and it contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and to help it stay cleaner for longer. That is why it is one of the go-to satin finishes when painting exterior wood, metal or plastic.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. If treating bare wood, use a primer to seal the surface. Prime any bare metal with using an appropriate metal primer. Once primed, or if previously painted, apply the appropriate coloured Weathershield Quick followed by a topcoat of Dulux Trade Weathershield QD Exterior Satin.
