Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk Tinted Colour

Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk is a fantastic quality washable emulsion based on unique AkzoNobel technology, providing a tough, mid-sheen finish. It is suitable for normal interior walls & ceilings in low to mid traffic rooms such as living rooms. Where condensation is a problem, for example in kitchens and bathrooms, use Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell.

With a great opacity and a coverage of up to 16m² per litre, Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk is one of the best emulsions on the market when it comes to mid-sheen finishes.

We can mix this product in any colour thanks to our paint mixing service. This includes any Dulux, RAL, British Standard or NCS colour, plus equivalents of most leading manufacturer's shades.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Bare surfaces should be primed using a primer, or sealed with a mist coat of Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk before your first full coat of paint. Dilute the paint with one part water to five parts paint, as per the manufacturers instructions. The excellent opacity of the product means that one coat may be sufficient where a minimal colour change is required. In most circumstances however it will require two coats of Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk.

As a water-based paint, do not apply at temperatures below 8ºC. To minimise risk of the 'framing effect' it is advised that you stir the paint before using and roll over the areas you have cut in using a paint brush with a roller.
