Dulux Trade Undercoat Brilliant White

Dulux Trade Undercoat is a solvent-based undercoat that is recommended for use with Dulux Trade High Gloss, providing an excellent opacity and a high-sheen that ensures exceptional gloss retention. It is suitable for use on correctly prepared and primed interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces such as skirting boards, doors & furniture.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. To bare surfaces, apply one coat of a suitable primer.

Apply one coat of Dulux Trade Undercoat, followed by one or two coats of your chosen topcoat, such as Dulux Trade High Gloss. Allow a minimum of 6 hours for the undercoat to dry before applying the topcoat. With an oil-based topcoat, allow a minimum of 16 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry.
