Dulux Trade Satinwood is a solvent-based satin finish suitable for interior wood & metal that is tough, hardwearing and dirt resistant. An advantage of using Dulux Trade Satinwood is that it does not require an undercoat except where a strong colour change is required. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces where a hardwearing satin finish is required.

As an oil-based paint, it has a recoating time of 16-24 hours and can yellow over time, however it has a fantastic flow, opacity and a beautiful professional finish.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. New surfaces are recommended to be primed using an appropriate primer. Once prepared, apply two coats of Dulux Trade Satinwood, ensuring you leave 16-24 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry.
