×Dulux Trade Diamond Satinwood is a tough & durable satin finish that provides excellent protection from scratches, stains and grease on interior wood & metal. It is designed to be used in high traffic areas, such as corridors & stairways where a higher level of durability is required.
As a water-based formulation, it benefits from being quick-drying, low odour and non-yellowing, while providing the durability that some water-based satin paints do not provide. This is why it is one of the paints that is most commonly used by people switching from oil-based satin paints.
It can be mixed in almost any colour thanks to our paint mixing service, including Dulux, RAL & British Standard shades. Either type in the name of the colour you would like Dulux Trade Diamond Satinwood mixing in, or select a colour from our colour palettes.
Application
Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying. Fill any holes or cracks, clean the surface to remove dirt or grease and apply a primer if the surface is bare. If a strong colour
change is involved then a coat of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat may be required. Once the surface is ready to be painted, apply two coats of Dulux Trade Soft Sheen to the surface, allowing 2-4 hours between the coats for the paint to dry.
Thinning is not required, however if required add one part water to twenty parts paint.
