Dulux Trade Diamond Matt is a very hardwearing emulsion that has been specially designed to provide added durability to interior walls & ceilings. Diamond Matt has a unique formula that includes stain repellent technology that allows it to withstand higher levels of cleaning and wearing without marking.

Dulux Diamond Matt is perfect if you are looking to achieve a matt finish in high traffic areas such as corridors & kitchens, as the standard vinyl matt emulsion will not have the needed durability. It is also suitable for commercial areas like schools & hospitals where constant cleaning is required. Diamond Matt is 10 times tougher than vinyl silk or vinyl matt, making it the perfect emulsion to maintain a freshly painted finish without having to patch up.

We can mix Dulux Trade Diamond Matt in any Dulux, RAL or British Standard colour, giving you the ability to get the ideal paint for you, in that colour you are looking for. Diamond Matt Tinting Bases contain Anti-Fade Technology to protect colour pigment from damage for truly long lasting colour and beautiful results.

How Dulux Trade Diamond Paint Works

Dulux Trade Diamond NEW Stain Repellent Technology actively repels a liquid stain, reducing the surface area of the paint affected. This means a stain is not absorbed into the paint and can be easily wiped clean, without the need for scrubbing. The Diamond range is AkzoNobel’s most durable decorative paint and has a coverage rate per litre of up to 16m2.

Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal interior environments and will withstand repeated washing making it perfect paint for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Not suitable for use on immersed surfaces or where there is heavy and prolonged condensation.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. If bare, apply a mist coat of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt, using a dilution of one part water to ten parts paint. Once prepared, apply two coats of Diamond Matt to the surface, leaving 4-6 hours between coats.
