Crown Trade Gloss White

Crown Trade Gloss is a high quality decorative and protective glossy finish that is suitable over correctly prepared woodwork and metal such as skirting boards, doors furniture. It is an oil-based formulation that provides a fantastic flow, opacity and high coverage, making it a popular gloss finish when painting interior trim.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks, ensure the surface is clean and apply a primer if required. It is recommended that one coat of Crown Trade Full Undercoat White is applied to bare and previously painted surfaces before the gloss topcoat is applied.

It is important to stir the paint well before use. Apply using a good quality paint brush or a medium pile roller, either with one or two coats. The number of coats required will depend on the colour change required, with one coat being sufficient where a small colour change is required. You must allow 16-24 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry. As an oil-based paint, you must clean brush or roller sleeve using white spirit.
