Crown Trade Fast Flow QD Eggshell White

Crown Trade Fastflow Quick Dry Eggshell is a water-based emulsion that provides a classic low sheen eggshell finish for use on correctly prepared interior and exterior joinery and metalwork. Its Breatheasy formulation, which is 99% solvent free. It has excellent flow properties and provides a classic low sheen eggshell finish. While it is a water-based formulation, it provides a solvent-based like finish with all the benefits of a water-based system, making it low odour and quick drying, making decorating as easy as possible.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. Lightly sand surfaces using sandpaper to create a light key.

Metal surfaces are recommended to have with one coat of Crown Trade High Build Rust Inhibiting Primer or Crown Trade Water Based Metal Primer applied. Timber surfaces should be primed with one coat of Crown Trade Fastflow Quick Dry Primer Undercoat using a brush or roller. Once completely dry, apply one or two coats of Crown Trade Fastflow QD Eggshell using a good quality synthetic brush or a good quality micro fibre medium pile roller. Allow 4-6 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry.
