Crown Trade Fast Flow QD Satin Tinted Colour

Crown Trade Fastflow Quick Dry Satin is a water-based paint that provides a satin finish for use on suitably prepared interior and exterior joinery and metalwork such as skirting boards and doors. Crown Trade Fastflow Quick Dry Satin has an excellent opacity, a smooth attractive finish and benefits from all of the characteristics of water based formulation, including being quick drying and low odour.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks, ensure the surface is clean and apply a primer if required. It is recommended to lightly sand down timber and metal using sandpaper to create a key for the paint to adhere. Ensure you clean the surface of any dust created by the sanding before applying paint. Any bare or new areas of timber should be primed using a suitable primer.

It is important to stir the paint well before use. Apply using a good quality paint brush or a medium pile roller, two coats of the paint. You must allow 3-4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry even though the paint will be touch dry in 1-2 hours. As a water-based paint, you can clean paint brushes and rollers using water.
