Crown Trade Eggshell White

Crown Trade Eggshell is a high-quality durable, washable eggshell finish for interior use. The oil-based formulation offers outstanding resistance to steam and condensation and is suitable for interior wood & metal work in areas such as kitchens and bathrooms and high traffic areas. Surfaces include, skirting boards, doors & windows. As an oil-based paint, it does have a longer drying time when compared to water-based alternatives, however it offers an excellent opacity, coverage and flow over surfaces.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. It is important to stir the paint well before use. Apply using a good quality paint brush or a medium pile roller, either with one or two coats. The number of coats required will depend on the colour change required, with one coat being sufficient where a small colour change is required. You must allow 16-24 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry. As an oil-based paint, you must clean brush or roller sleeve using white spirit.
