×Armstead Trade Vinyl Matt is a professional, trade quality matt emulsion that is suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces. It has an great opacity and a coverage of up to 14m2 per litre, helping it achieve a fantastic finish. As a vinyl matt emulsion, this is the ideal paint if you want to achieve a low-sheen, flat matt finish that achieves an attractive and modern look that covers imperfections due to its lack of reflectivity. This low sheen means it is ideal for low-traffic rooms such as bedrooms and living rooms, with a durable matt emulsion best suited for high traffic rooms or high condensation rooms. Being from Armstead, it offers excellent value for money when it comes to trade quality paint.
Application
Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks and ensure the surface is clean. If bare, apply a mist coat of Armstead Vinyl Matt, using a dilution of 1 part water to 10 parts paint. Once sealed and prepared, apply two full coats of Armstead Vinyl Matt, ensuring you leave 2-4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry. To reduce the framing effect, once you have used a paint brush to cut in the edges, roll as far to the edge using a roller as possible. This ensures the most even finish.
