Armstead Soft Sheen Tinted Colours

Armstead Trade Vinyl Soft Sheen is a professional trade quality, wipeable water-based emulsion with a soft sheen finish. It is suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces, offering excellent opacity and a reliable finish.

Application

Ensure the surface is suitably prepared, clean and dry. Remove any loose paint from previously painted surfaces before painting. Do not apply in conditions below 10°C or in damp conditions. Bare absorbent surfaces such as new plaster can be sealed using Armstead Soft Sheen diluted with 1 part water to 20 parts paint to mist coat the surface.

Where a small colour change is required, one coat may be sufficient. With more substantial colour changes, apply two coats of Armstead Soft Sheen using a paint brush or roller, allowing 2-4 hours between coats for the paint to fully dry. To reduce from the framing effect, it is recommended to use a mini-roller to roll paint as far to the edges of possible once they have been cut in using a brush. This ensures the same amount of paint has been applied to the full surface, preventing darker patches.
