Crown Trade Timonox Vinyl Matt

Crown Trade Timonox Vinyl Matt is a decorative flame retardant coating for walls and ceilings, specially formulated for use on new non-combustible surfaces and previously painted non-combustible surfaces

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks, ensure the surface is clean and apply a primer if required. Porous surfaces such as new plaster should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Crown Trade Timonox Vinyl Matt diluted with 40% water by volume. This also applies to areas that have been filled, although these can be spot primed also. Do not apply in conditions below 8ºC.

It is important to stir the paint well before use. Apply using a good quality paint brush or a medium pile roller, two coats. You must allow 4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry even though the paint will be touch dry in 1-2 hours. As a water-based paint, you can clean paint brushes and rollers using water.
