5L Crown Trade Clean Extreme Stain Resistant Eggshell White

Crown Trade Clean Extreme technology provides 100% more stain resistant compared to standard vinyl matt. This allows it to be cleaned without marking the paint film, making it ideal for high traffic rooms such as hallways or high condensation rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms. The eggshell finish has been independently tested, demonstrating a Class 1 scrub rating.

As well as interior walls & ceilings, as a water-based eggshell finish, it can also be used on woodwork such as doors or skirting boards, offering a quick-drying, low odour and non-yellowing finish. Crown Trade Clean Extreme Stain Resistant Eggshell is for interior use only.

Application

Ensure that you prepare the surface properly before applying the paint. Remove any loose or flaking paint, fill any holes or cracks & ensure the surface is clean. Porous surfaces such as new plaster should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt diluted with 40% water by volume. Previously glossy surfaces should be lightly sanded down to assist the paint in adhering to the substrate.

It is important to stir the paint well before use. Apply two coats of paint using a good quality paint brush & a medium pile roller. If painting interior walls, you can prevent framing by using a mini-roller to as close to the edge as possible once you have cut in using a paint brush. This will ensure no brush strokes and will prevent overapplication. You must allow 3-4 hours between coats to allow the paint to fully dry even though the paint will be touch dry in 1-2 hours. As a water-based paint, you can clean paint brushes and rollers using water.
