5L 5300 Epoxyshield Maxx 2 Pack Floor Paint

5300 Epoxyshield Maxx is a water-based 2 pack floor paint for use on medium to heavy traffic areas. The product has an excellent wear, impact and abrasion resistance like foot and vehicle traffic, making it ideal for a range of domestic and commercial uses. 5300 Epoxyshield Maxx can be applied on concrete floors, which are completely clean and dry and on old good adhering coatings, although it is not recommended to apply on smooth/dense concrete or concrete containing a curing compound, which will prevent a good adhesion.

Overall, 5300 Epoxyshield Maxx is a fantastic, user friendly and easy to apply epoxy floor coating that is perfect if you are looking for high levels of adhesion and durability.

It is available in three standard colours, RAL 7001 Steel Grey, RAL 7035 Light Grey and English Red.

Application

Repair any holes or cracks and remove any loose paint by sanding and scraping. Remove oil and grease using a scrub brush and a cleaning or degreaser solution. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water afterwards.

Stir thoroughly for at least 3 minutes before application. Minimum floor temperature for painting is 13ºC.

Use a paint roller to apply an even coat of Epoxyshield 5300 MAXX on to the surface. Maintaining a wet edge will help prevent lap marks and gloss differences. Sprinkle the decorative paint chips to the wet surface or skip if chips are not desired. Wash all equipment with warm soapy water.
